“THE DESIGN OF OUR SPACE AND ENVIRONMENT AFFECTS US PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY”
A sensory room is a space that is designed to help individuals with autism or sensory challenges to feel calm, supported and focused. Sensory rooms are more often found in clinical settings such as occupational therapists offices. Before we begin to design, remodel or transform a room in your home, there are some questions we need to take into consideration so that this space will be positive for the individual we are designing for. For example, are they hypersensitive, hyposenstive, or both.

Although every individual has their own environmental needs, it is my sincerest desire to help your family create a sensory friendly home. Debra
